Praise God! Stanley has been contacted for several interviews with great companies. I know that this is just the beginning and it may not yield a new job or even new insurance but it’s definitely a start. I feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This has been a tough couple of years for us and it seems like the last couple of months have even been harder. It’s been over 2 years since we started this journey of trying to conceive and it’s been a wild journey to say the least. I would have never imagined that we would get to this point of changing jobs just to get insurance, JUST to have coverage for infertility treatments. I guess you never know the extremes you’ll go to until your back is against the wall and you don’t know what else to do.
I’ve also been researching different assisted reproductive procedures such as IVF, ICSI, and IUI. I have quite a few friends and even some family members that have been through ART (assisted reproductive procedures) and most have experienced success. All of the procedures cost A LOT but at this point they may be worth a try. Sometimes it’s hard to even think about going that route, but after over 2 years of trying naturally with no luck, it seems like that may be the way to go. I guess we’ll cross that road if we get new insurance or once we save up enough money to think about it.
Right now we’re just taking everything one day at a time and trusting God with it all. He is our provider. He is our hope.
Put your hope in the Lord. Travel steadily along his path. He will honor you by giving you the land. You will see the wicked destroyed.
