I’ve never been one to really exercise. I know that’s not a good thing but it’s the truth. I’ve also never really been the healthiest eater. Apparently those things go hand in hand with bettering your chances of becoming pregnant. Finding the time to work out and plan meals can be challenging when you work full time and are constantly busy with everything else. Well guess what? I no longer work a “full-time” job anymore so I’ve been trying to live a healthier lifestyle. So my goal is to incorporate exercising and healthy eating into my daily life.
Since my job ended a few days ago I’ve been trying to make sure I walk a couple of miles a day with my dog. Sometimes I walk around my neighborhood and sometimes I walk on a trail that’s not too far from my house. I’m finding that changing the scenery from time to time makes it easier. I’ve also been drinking green smoothies everyday. I found a recipe on this other blog that I follow and sometimes I might even add a few of my own ingredients. It feels really good to work out and eat better. I still have tons of work to do but it’s definitely a start.
I’m not used to having all of this free time on my hands so even after working out, I end up kind of bored. I know that things will definitely pick up once I’m hired by more clients. I just have to be patient. Sometimes I find myself thinking “Man, I was really hoping to be pregnant by the time my job ended” but of course, everything happens in God’s perfect timing. In the meantime, I will do my best to take care of myself so that my body will be prepared when the time comes.
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
