My husband ended up getting an offer from the company that he has been interviewing with. I’m glad he got the procedure done when he did because we did NOT expect him to start interviewing and receiving offers this fast. I guess this is what happens when you pray and ask God to open doors if it’s His will. 🙂 The insurance is not as awesome as we had hoped for. As a matter of fact, it’s worse, BUT this company has so much room for growth and advancement. Ultimately, that’s why he accepted the offer. This means more changes for us though. I tend to have a hard time when it comes to changes but I’m working on it.
I’m so nervous about him working at a job that’s 25 mins from home. I know it sounds crazy but neither of us has ever had a job where we worked more than 10 mins away. It’s almost unheard of here in Atlanta but we’ve just been blessed to always work close to home and never had to commute much. We had to do what we felt we were lead to do though and we had to come to the realization that everything wouldn’t be perfect but it was time for a change.
So now here we are again in yet another new season of life. He’s starting a new job in a matter of a few days. In a month and a half, I’ll be done working for the company I’ve been with for the past 7 years. All of this in addition to dealing with fertility issues. I’m a little disappointed that the new company has almost NO infertility coverage in any of their insurance plans. They have 1 plan that covers infertility testing but NO plans that cover treatment. That makes me sad. Hopefully we won’t need any further treatments and if we do, I’m praying that God will provide whatever we need. He has thus far so I have no reason to doubt that he will in the future. Keep us in your prayers as we continue to travel these unfamiliar roads.
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
